This year’s theme, “New Voices. Familiar Faces.”, celebrates what makes the Tejas Storytelling Festival special—the storytellers and friends we love returning year after year, along with exciting new voices bringing fresh stories and perspectives to our stage.

For more than four decades, storytellers and story lovers have gathered in Denton to laugh, learn, remember, and connect through the power of story. We look forward to continuing that tradition in 2027.

More information about featured storytellers, workshops, concerts, registration, hotels, and the complete festival schedule will be coming soon.
